Course Description

Literacy 2 in the Lower Section (P1 to P3) at St. Mary’s Seeta School focuses on developing learners’ proficiency in English as they transition from foundational language skills to more structured reading and writing. The subject builds on skills acquired in Literacy 1 by emphasizing reading comprehension, vocabulary development, sentence construction, and basic writing. Through activities such as guided reading, storytelling, spelling exercises, and simple composition, pupils are encouraged to express their ideas clearly and confidently. The interactive and learner-centered approach helps strengthen their communication skills and prepares them for more advanced English language learning in the upper classes.
