Course Description

Mathematics in the Lower Section (P1 to P3) at St. Mary’s Seeta School, taught by Tr. Ochela Geoffrey, is designed to build a strong foundation in numeracy while nurturing curiosity and confidence in young learners. Through engaging, age-appropriate activities, pupils are introduced to basic concepts such as counting, number recognition, simple addition and subtraction, shapes, and measurements. Tr. Geoffrey emphasizes practical learning, encouraging pupils to explore mathematics through real-life examples, interactive exercises, and guided practice. This approach not only strengthens their problem-solving skills but also helps them develop a positive attitude toward the subject, preparing them for more advanced mathematical concepts in the upper classes.
